4E Power Manager I created

Hi all, my first post here.  I have actually lurked for quite a while as I have gotten into 4E over the last year and this is one of the few active places remaining.  Just posting a video with what my 4E workflow is as far as managing characters and powers at the gaming table. It includes some software that I wrote for managing PC powers on your phone/tablet/laptop as well as some tweaks I made to some existing software you may or may not already use. If you think the software I demo in the vid is cool and you would like to use it then let me know so I can work on releasing it publicly. If you use something else that does all this for you already I would like to know too so I can check it out.

Here is a trimmed down and generalized vid that I created for people looking at my resume. You guys will be able to make good sense of it, but don't be offended that I dumb it down by saying things like "board game" or "tactical war game". The goal was to display my efforts in the shortest amount of time possible, not to teach people how to play d&d. I also talk more about the technology here and less about the game, but its a much shorter vid.

I play online and never have a problem with keeping track of my powers so this is not useful to me. Sorry.

Yeah, I wouldnt expect so. The entire goal is to help with management around a physical table, not a virtual one. What do you use for online play?

I started to watch the video yesterday, but after 2 minutes, I got interrupted by one of my staff and had to save it for later. I'm hoping to check this out today to see what you have put together!

Glad to hear it. I just edited the original post with a diff more trimmed down video. Let me know what you think when you get a chance to watch it. If nobody needs it, then I'll just keep using it for my home group, but if there is genuine interest then I would move forward with the extra effort of releasing something publicly.

I just use roll20's 4e character sheet. It uses the green, red, grey, yellow power cards but makes them collapsible so many can be seen at once. I keep it organized green on top then red, then grey then items. That makes it easier for me to skim my powers so I can usually finish my turns in less than thirty seconds.Sometimes as short as one second if I was able to pre-ready my turn.

This sounds valuable to me if you went forward with it testing it would be up my alley

One thing I have been doing is fully custom content - I would like to get it out into doc formatted from where I have put it into CBLoader.

Some things are not 100 percent represented in Character Builder like karma points as a separate coin. Or most martial practices having a skill roll to regulate the cost...

I have made an xml with xslt which contains some of the practices (no not really finished form but kind of fun)
