More talk of non DnD games?

So, I have a few things I'd like to chat with people about, but I don't want to start a bunch of threads that never get responses.

Alternity. Mostly, how to streamline it, and make some of things I've come to expect work there. (trying to make a Hawkeye style character in that system is...difficult)


Quest for Chevar. It's a system I'm building based on a d10 dice pool, a bit like the old d6 system, but influenced by dnd, gurps, The One Ring, Old School Hack, and others.


Star Wars Saga. I wonder if a 4e that looks more like Saga would have been more readily accepted by the fan base?

anyone interested in any of those topics?

Yeah, seeing as Saga is similar to 3.5 but much, much improved (imo) it would have been a good design base for 4e. It was a sort of 3.75e in a way.

I just recently started play Legend of the 5 Rings. It's pretty darn cool so far. Lots of different traits and such that you can apply to characters.
