Subject: List of "save or" creatures. Sun Jun 09, 2013 11:09 pm
I'm wondering if anyone knows a list of monsters that have dangerous "save or" effects? I'm talking the more dangerous effects, such as: Blinded, deafness, death, petrification, poison (bad poison not just ongoing 5 or 10), etc. I've been considering running a fairly deadly/hard 4e campaign and don't know many monsters than the basics like the beholder, medusa, catoblepas, and demi-lich.

I'm afraid I don't have a list like that, but if you're looking to run a really hard campaign a simpler way to do so might be to use difficult alternate goals, or just tossing extra complications into the fight.

The Compendium will let you search for creatures using the condition. Why not try that?
(Of course, that's my way of saying that I don't have such a list. )
