New advert banners

Is anyone else experiencing the ridiculous new advertising banners that pop in right across the middle of the screen?

They have no "close" button and they sit there, typically blocking the first few lines of the post. And what's worse, they scroll up and down so they ALWAYS block that.

Can anything be done about this?

They have been popint up on my computer as well. I thought I accedently downloaded spywere since no one has mentioned anything.

I'm getting it too, although mine don't scroll with me.

Still plenty annoying though!

They do not do that for me. I use FireFox for my Browser. Maybe its your Browser?

Nope, firefox doesn't help.

I just had to preview a new thread topic just to add its subject heading, because a banner was blocking the subject field. This can't be good for keeping and attracting fans to 4Enclave.

Not happening to me. I'm using Firefox 27.0.1. I do have flash disabled though.

Thank you for reporting the problem. I will be working on getting this done. The problem is that I haven't actually purchased the URL fully yet. I wanted to wait until we got to 100 member in order to make the forum fully legitimate. But I will look into it if it is becoming a problem.

I myself had completely forgotten about the ads. I use Adblock. Until I get things sorted out I would recommend checking it out: https://adblockplus.org/

Yep. Gone for me as well.

They were showing up on Safari and Chrome at the time. It was a bit distracting. But we're awesome now!!!
