I always liked this concept races in D&D are sort of stereotypes of real people this concept pulls it back by reflavoring the races as types of human (the races are kept close to humans in the game arguably so this shouldn't be an issue)

There is a bit of echo of this in Ultramodern4... I am currently quite intrigued by it has anybody used it ... it looks like it has some slick elements.
